Monday 30th January 2023 to Friday 3rd February 2023
Our New Year starts with our usual Warner break to Bodelwyddan Castle with its excellent facilities and beautiful scenery. It’s the perfect location for an all you could possibly need relaxing or active (depending on which side of the bed you get up from) holiday. Your journey to the Hotel has a comfort stop at St. Asaph Tweedmill, a shopping outlet with several different retail areas to browse and excellent café. The return to Biddulph has a stop at The Grosvenor Garden Centre, which also has a wide variety of retail areas to wander around. During your stay the Coach will not be with you so that you can enjoy all the facilities of the Hotel. There are a very limited number of single rooms

February 2023

Monday 20th February 2023 to Friday 24th February 2023
You could end up anywhere in The United Kingdom, so you better be prepared for any kind of adventure. Pack your waterproofs for a hike around Snowdonia or your summer best for a relaxing stay by the pool. Will you be able to deduce your final destination? Don’t let the initial direction fool you into thinking you’re going there straight away. There will a comfort stop en-route and the driver will be instructed to keep quiet about the weekend.

Monday 17th April 2023 to Friday 21st April 2023
Our Spring Holiday is to The English Riviera and The Headland Hotel and Spa, Torquay. Unfortunately The Headland Hotel suffered a fire recently and will not be open in time for our visit. We will now be staying at the Hampton by Hilton. This Hotel is ideally located by the Harbour and it is in the centre of Torquay. Excursions during your stay include a delightful trip on the river Exe, followed by a train ride. A local guide will join the Coach for a full day’s adventure, with a stop in the ancient market town of Tavistock and see the moorlands of Dartmoor. There will be a free day to enjoy Torbay or the facilities of the Hotel.  

May 2023

Monday 8th May 2023 to Friday 12th May 2023
We are hoping by May that most of Scotland has defrosted from the winter as we venture north to The Highland Hotel, Stirling. The Hotel is set within the beautiful and historic city of Stirling, with its charming Victorian building and fascinating observatory that reflects the rich heritage of the area. Excursions during your stay include a visit to The Palace of Holyroodhouse at the end of Edinburgh’s Royal Mile, followed by time on Princes Street for some retail therapy. A sightseeing cruise on the Forth estuary, with an opportunity to get a unique view of the three Bridges from below and the beautiful panoramas of the Edinburgh skyline to the south and Fife to the north. Keeping an eye out for the local marine wildlife, including seals and puffins. Finally, a visit to a local distillery for a ‘wee dram’.
Wednesday 17th May 2023 to Tuesday 23rd May 2023
We travel across the water for a Holiday overseas, although it is the beautiful Isle of Wight. Your stay is at The Trouville Hotel in Sandown on the south of the Isle. From the hotel’s commanding position, the lounge and bars boast stunning views of Sandown Bay and its long stretches of golden sandy beach, its traditional British seafront and pier. All rooms have a sea view except for the single rooms, which are limited with no supplement. Excursions during your stay include day out trips to Ventnor Botanic Gardens, a visit to Osborne House, the beloved home to Queen Victoria. Ride on the well-preserved Isle of Wight steam railway, a tour of the Isle including The Needles and a free day to explore Sandown. There are a limited number of single rooms

Friday 9th June 2023 to Thursday 15th June 2023
As you brave the wrath of The Scots by passing the wall (Hadrian’s Wall) to explore the Highlands of Scotland. Your first destination is Best Western Queen’s Hotel, in the centre of Dundee for 2 nights dinner, bed & breakfast and spend a free day in this historic city. Sunday, you journey further north to Wick for 3 nights dinner, bed & breakfast at Norseman Hotel, Wick. Monday you will be visiting The Queens Mother’s beloved Castle of Mey. Tuesday there is a chance to cross North Sea to The Orkneys for a guided Tour of the Isle. Including highlights such as Skara Brae, the Churchill Barrier, Scapa Flow and the Italian Chapel on a local coach. Finally, you have a single night dinner, bed & breakfast at The Alona Hotel, Motherwell before continuing the journey home.

The Summer Holiday to Llandudno is as popular as ever, as we spend our time at The Kensington Hotel on the South Parade. Travelling to our destination you will have a guided tour of the wonderful Port Sunlight and its story of The Lever Family. Returning on Monday you have time to browse St. Asaph, Tweedmill retail outlet and Café. An excursion during your stay is on Sunday to The National Trust Gardens at Bodnant to see the elegantly maintained gardens and premises. Established in 1874 and cared for by The National Trust since 1949, the garden is home to the earliest and grandest laburnum arch built in 1880. Saturday is a free day to enjoy Llandudno with all its attractions and retail outlets

This Holiday is packed full of adventure, as you travel south to Bournemouth for an overnight stay, before catching an early the ferry across The Channel to Guernsey.  On arrival we travel to The Peninsula Hotel, Rousse for 5 nights. Located on the north of the Island, it sits beautifully on the picturesque headland with a wonderful view over Grand Harve Bay. Excursions during your stay include full day trips to the sleepy Island of Sark and the tranquil Island of Herm, the perfect place for a relaxing day. A guided tour of Guernsey, taking in all the beautiful sights the Island has to offer. You have a free day to enjoy the local area. The return journey home starts late afternoon, arriving back in the UK about 7pm, where the coach will meet you and drive you straight back to Biddulph.
Sunday 17th September 2023 to Friday 22nd September 2023
The ferry to Ireland will leave Holyhead, Anglesey in the afternoon, arriving in Dublin, then transferring to The Aspect Hotel for a single night dinner, bed & breakfast. The next morning you head to The Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, to experience the history, heart and soul of Ireland’s most iconic beer. Explore the story of Guinness across 7 floors of the Storehouse, before taking in the 360views of Dublin City from the Gravity Bar. Afterwards you continue onto County Cork and The Clonakilty Hotel for the remainder of the holiday. Other excursions include admission to Bantry House & Gardens on the wild Atlantic Coast, to explore the stately home of the White Family. Catch the ferry to Garninish Island, which is known to horticulturists as an island garden of rare beauty.

Once again, we pay a visit to The Kensington Hotel for our autumn tints vacation. The Hotel is a classically styled Victorian, seafront property on the South Parade. This Hotel has been our base since our first Holidays on horse and cart. Departing Biddulph we head towards Ruthin for a comfort stop at the Craft Centre in town, then heading off into the Welsh mountains to Llandudno. Saturday will be a tour of Snowdonia with a break in the journey at Porthmadog, taking in the Autumn Tints. Sunday is a day out to The Tweedmill, St. Asaph, followed by a scenic route back to the Hotel. Monday after check-out there will the morning to wander Llandudno before travelling home after lunchtime.

Monday 20th November 2023 to Friday 24th November 2023
Staying at The Auckland Hotel, which was the venue for the 2022 early mystery holiday. Morecambe Bay is just south of The Lake District National Park, with the UK’s largest expanse of intertidal mudflats and sand. The Hotel has a week of Christmas themed events planned during your stay, including fancy dress on New Year’s Eve celebrations. Excursions during your stay include a trip to Fleetwood Freeport Outlet in the morning followed by Lytham St.Annes in the afternoon, with the possibility that we could return through the Illuminations if the season has been extended. A tour round the Lake District, taking in the breathtaking scenery. There are a limited number of single rooms available
Monday 27th November 2023 to Friday 1st December 2023
The Radisson Blu Hotel, Durham overlooks the River Wear in the city centre. It boosts several UNESCO World Heritage sites, a rich history and maze of hilly, cobbled streets. Most attractions are just a short walk from the hotel. There will be a free day during your stay in Durham to explore the city Excursions during your stay include a visit to the open-air Beamish Museum, which brings to life the history of Northeast England in the early 1800’s. A tour of the breathtaking Durham Cathedral, which was used as a location for the Harry Potter movies and we will hopefully have a guided tour of Hadrian’s Wall with a stop at Houseteads Fort. You can enjoy parts of the Wall from the comfort of your seat as it runs parallel with the road.

Wednesday 13th December 2023 to Friday 15th December 2023
The Christmas Spectacular holiday sells out every year, so be quick to get your place booked. We will be staying at the excellent Wensum Valley Hotel and travelling there we will be making a stop at Springfields Shopping Outlet near Spalding, with your return journey making a comfort break at The Boundary Mill, Grantham. As usual the show changes dramatically each year, but always offers an experience to remember. We hope to have Matinee tickets for the show, in some of the best seats in the house. The morning of the show we will spend time in the lovely seaside town of Sheringham for a breath of sea air and maybe an ice cream.
