We travel to our London destination with a short comfort stop en-route. The Guoman Tower Hotel is situated next to the beautiful and historic Tower Bridge in the heart of London and is an ideal base to start your adventure. You have free time to enjoy the sights and discover the history of our Great Capital. Wander down Regents Street and shop till you drop, be amazed at the fantastic Natural History Museum or wave at Buckingham Palace to see if any Royals are in residences. With our central London base its walking distance to most of the Capitals attractions.

Another year and another mystery to solve, where are we going this time? Walking along the promenade of Scarborough, exploring the tunnels beneath Liverpool or getting blown away on to the top of Mount Snowdon. Where ever we land make sure your packed with clothes for all and any occasion. Make sure to book early as the Mystery trips are popular every year.

March 2019

Monday 4th March 2019 to Friday 8th March 2019
The destination will be difficult to determine, even if the driver takes you South, only to turn East at the last moment. Will you see The Angel of the North, cross the Severn Bridge or take a ferry to the Isle of Wight. As always you must be prepared for any and all-weather types and conditions during your stay. Rest assured though, there will be running hot water and a hot meal waiting for you at the end of each day.
Friday 22nd March 2019 to Sunday 24th March 2019
We travel to Leeds via Chesterfield taking in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside before heading into Yorkshire and our Hotel for the weekend. On Saturday, after breakfast you have the morning to yourselves in Leeds before the matinee performance of the show at The Varieties Music Hall of “Good Old Days”. “The long-running and popular BBC television programme The Good Old Days was filmed at Leeds City Varieties Music Hall from 1953 to 1983. The show involved the audience dressing up in Victorian garb for a good old-fashioned knees-up with big name stars such as Les Dawson, Barbara Windsor, Jimmy Tarbuck, Val Doonican and Barry Cryer.”                   . Monday 1st April 2019 to Friday 5th April 2019
Enjoy a scenic drive south through a number of counties to Newquay, making a comfort stop en-route to the hotel. Our destination is the Esplanade Hotel overlooking the beautiful Fistral Beach. The Hotel has an indoor swimming pool and sauna for guests to use at their leisure. We have several excursions during your stay including a visit with admission to the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. A day of discovery with stops at Boscastle, Tintagel and Port Isaac, taking in the rugged and dramatic coastline as we finally take a break in Padstow.
Monday 22nd April 2019 to Friday 26th April 2019
We travel to our hotel through the beautiful Cotswolds countryside to the Fownes Hotel in Worcester, which is a 2 minute walk from the Cathedral and river. We will travel through the Three Counties stopping in delightful and historic towns including Tewkesbury, Ledbury and Hereford. We visit Chavenage House and have a guided tour by one of the eccentric family member and anyone who has visited before knows that this is an unforgettable experience. Followed by a light lunch prepared by another family member, before visiting the small town of Tetbury, where you can visit the Police Museum and Courtroom or simply browse in The Highgrove Shop supporting Prince Charles’ Charities. We spend a morning with a local guide around the Blossom Trail and then have the afternoon free in Worcester.

Sunday 5th May 2019 to Friday 10th May 2019
Followed by the success of the 2017/2018 holidays our base in 2019 is near Galway and encompasses all the traditions and hospitality that makes Ireland an unforgettable holiday. Our journey begins with a drive through the Welsh Countryside and along the coast to the Isle of Anglesey, then across the Island to Holyhead for our ferry to Dublin. On arrival in Ireland we will make a short trip to The Bloomfield House Hotel for the night, to enjoy dinner, bed and breakfast. After our breakfast we travel across Ireland to our base Hotel for the next three days at the Clifden Hotel near to Galway Bay During your stay we have planned excursions to Westport House for a grand tour, a sheep herding demonstration followed by Irish Music and refreshments, a guided tour of Connemara Celtic Glass establishment and finally a cruise on the Killary Fjord.
Sunday 12th May 2019 to Thursday 16th May 2019
Our trip into the delightful and perhaps under-rated countries of Essex and Suffolk, we enjoy picturesque villages, one of our most recognisable scenes painted by an artist, fascinating boat trip and a cuppa at Dick Turpin’s Birthplace. The Crowne Plaza Five Lakes Hotel is in Maldon near Colchester, which has leisure facilities available for guests. An ideal base for our excursions during the week. Excursions during your stay included a visit to Flatford Mill, which is the site of Constable’s Haywain painting and Colchester and its Castle. We travel through Essex to Finchingfield and Hempstead, for a break at Dick Turpin’s birthplace, then onto bury St. Edmunds and Lavenham. The historic maritime town of Hawich is our destination for your boat trip around the harbour to Felixstowe.
Sunday 19th May 2019 to Saturday 25th May 2019
We travel down to Bournemouth on the Sunday for a night at the Hallmark Hotel before catching the midday ferry on Monday  to Guernsey, departing on Friday mid afternoon arriving in Bournemouth in time for a late dinner. Our base in Guernsey is The Peninsula Hotel, which is set in 5 acres of grounds and has a prominent sea front location overlooking two sleepy fishing bays. There is an outdoor pool and The Sarnia Restaurant serves a buffet breakfast and a four course dinner. During our stay, there will be a guided tour of Guernsey by local coach and a day trip to Sark with a two hour carriage ride. There will also be one free day to use the hotel facilities, visit the beach or catch the hourly bus service to St Peters Port, the largest town in Guernsey (at your own expense) 4 Nights stay at The Peninsula Hotel, Guernsey 2 Nights Stay at Hallmark Hotel, Bournemouth  
Monday 27th May 2019 to Friday 31st May 2019
We travel to our destination via the picturesque Leamington Spa for a chance explore this beautiful Royal town. During your stay we have arranged a number of excursions. We have planned visits to Waddeston Manor and Boughton House which both have impressive Gardens for you to walk around and admire. For something a bit different we have a day out to Duxford and the Imperial War Museum. Walk through the same hangars and buildings as those who served at RAF Duxford. See aircraft take to the skies from the airfield that Spitfires first flew. And get up close to over a century of aviation with hundreds of aircraft and objects on display.

Thursday 4th July 2019 to Tuesday 9th July 2019
We once again return to Sidmouth and the excellent Bedford Hotel, where we have enjoyed excellent hospitality the Hotel has to offer. During our trip we will be visiting the beautiful Forde Abbey and Gardens for a day. The house has a 900 year history and has been the backdrop for a number of Hollywood films. The award-winning gardens are spectacular, with the highest-powered water fountain in the country. Another trip is a day out to Portland Bill along Chisel Beach and the seaside town of Weymouth. We will also be paying a visit to Sherbourne Castle and gardens. One full day will be free time in Sidmouth to discover at your leisure
Thursday 18th July 2019 to Monday 22nd July 2019
Bringing 2000 years of history, myth and legend to life in a spectacular family entertainment for all ages! The Kynren takes you on an action-packed and emotional journey through time. Encompassing the Roman occupation, the Viking and Norman invasions, medieval feasts and jousting, the splendour of the Tudors, the English Civil War, the Georgian Renaissance, Industrial Revolution and two world wars right up to the current period and many other scenes in between. During your stay we be running several day trips including The National Museum of The Royal Navy in Hartlepool. Residing there is the HMS Trincomalee which is the oldest seaworthy warship. A day in the University City of Newcastle with all its Ship building and Industrial History.
Friday 19th July 2019 to Monday 22nd July 2019
Our annual summer trip to Llandudno, at the excellent Kensington Hotel. Travelling to our Hotel we will make a stop at The British Ironworks Centre, which is dedicated to celebrating the diversity of art in metal. We have a free day to enjoy Llandudno on Saturday, scale the great Orme using your feet, a cable car or the tram. Take a tranquil walk on the promenade and out to sea along the pier. On Sunday we transport you to Porthmadog through the Snowdonia National Park, where you will board the Welsh Highland Railway for a 2 hour trip to Caernarfon. On arrival you will have time to visit the town before returning to Llandudno.

Sunday 11th August 2019 to Friday 16th August 2019
By popular demand we return to the Isle Of Man and the excellent Best Western Hotel. Departing Biddulph northbound to Heysham for the lunchtime ferry over the sea to Douglas. Excursions during your stay on the Isle will include a steam train ride from Douglas to Port Erin across the length of the Isle, with chance to enjoy The Isle of Man Fudge Factory. A trip to see the Calf of Man, from a beautiful vantage point on the mainland. A visit to Ramsey and the Manx Electric Railway and perhaps if weather permitting a horse drawn carriage ride. One day will be free to enjoy the Hotel facilities or walk around the Isle for yourself.
Friday 16th August 2019 to Sunday 18th August 2019
Our trip north starts with a scenic drive through the beautiful Peak District on our way to Leeds. We will have a comfort stop in Holmfirth en-route. The following day, after breakfast it’s a day at the Countryfile Live show. It’s an amazing opportunity to wander throughout the site, looking for points of interest. Visit the Village Green, meet the brilliant presenters from the beloved programme or see the many wildlife zones. Take this unique opportunity to sample a wide range of food and drink the show has to offer. On our return home we will be calling at Batley Mill for some last minute shopping.
Monday 26th August 2019 to Friday 30th August 2019
Leaving the garage to our destination we will make a suitable stop en-route to Scarborough, arriving by late afternoon. We have a morning visit to Whitby and then the short ride on the steam train to Goathland, which is Aidenfield from the TV series “Heartbeat”, where the coach will collect you and drive you back to Scarborough. Another trip we will have a full day out in Bridlington and then onto Flamborough Head to take in the sites of this beautiful coastline. There will be time to enjoy all that Scarborough has to offer during your free day.

Friday 13th September 2019 to Thursday 19th September 2019
Our tour starts with us travelling to the Hallmark Hotel, Bournemouth for our overnight accommodation. After a leisurely breakfast we cross the Channel on Condor Ferries with upgrades to the Horizon Lounge from Poole to St. Helier and then transfer to The Merton Hotel for our four nights’ stay. This will offer plenty of time to enjoy its history, culture and food with a full day tour of the Isle, a visit to Jersey Zoo and a free day during your stay. The Merton Hotel has a number of leisure facilities available to residents and offers a wide choice of food at the buffet style breakfast and dining experience.

We travel to The Kensington Hotel making a stop on the way at the Moreton Park Garden Centre near Chirk. Our journey continues through Llangollen, Corwen and along the Conway Valley arriving at the hotel for late afternoon. Saturday we take a leisurely drive around Snowdonia, enjoying the Autumnal colours and amazing scenery. On Sunday there will be a tour of Anglesey, stopping at Beaumaris and Llanfair PG taking as much of the coastline as possible. Travelling home we will make a stop at St. Asaph Tweedmill Factory Outlet.

Tuesday 26th November 2019 to Thursday 28th November 2019
Join us for our 5013 trip (approximately) to the Thursford Music Spectacular and our base will again be the excellent Wensum Valley Hotel The show changes dramatically each year and people return time after time to marvel at the fabulous costumes, dancing and music. We will travel to the Wensum Valley via Springfields shopping outlet in Spalding and return home via Grantham. We are hoping to get Matinee tickets for the show on Wednesday, with some of the best seats in the house. Before the Show you will have a morning in the seaside town of Sheringham.

Join us for another excellent Festive Holiday at The Crown Hotel. Each night is a different Christmas theme starting with Christmas Eve and ending on New Year’s Eve and the singing of “Auld Lang Syne” at 11pm. A unique opportunity to explore a genuine European market at Christmas time. We are taking the overnight ferry from Hull to Zeebrugge, which will include dinner, bed and breakfast. There is ample time to walk around the market, sample the many varieties of food and drink. Browse the stalls for bargains and unique items only available from European Markets. There will be an Ice Rink at the centre of the Medieval Town for the more adventurous. You will be required to hold a valid passport.
