Shibden Hall is the focus of the BBC drama, “Gentleman Jack” written by Sally Wainwright exploring the life of Anne Lister. The Hall is situated in a public park in Shibden and is a grade II listed building, council owned, it had been in the Listers family’s ownership for over 300yrs.
