Situated on the banks of the river Wye in the Derbyshire Peak District surrounded by stunning countryside, the town offers charming tea rooms, attractive stone buildings, a quaint five arched bridge, museum and various riverside attractions.

After spending a good few hours at Bakewell, we will head back at 2:30pm with a stop-off at Tissington for about a one hour visit to take in the sights and creations of the Well Dressing, the ancient custom of decorating well and springs with pictures made using natural materials.
