Catching a mid afternoon ferry from Holyhead to our destination is The Arklow Bay Hotel, situated on the outskirts of the town of Arklow and set within beautiful grounds. The Hotel has a separate building for leisure facilities, which include sauna, jacuzzi, steam and pool.
During the holiday there will be excursions which include, The Powerscourt Estate Gardens and Waterfall, which was used as a backdrop for the 2002 version of ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’.
A trip to The Irish National Stud with its Japanese Gardens, described as the finest Japanese Gardens in Europe. Enjoy a guided tour of Wicklow Mountains and the Vale of Avoca. The town of Avoca was used to film the BBC series ‘Ballykissangel’.
