Excursions during your stay include a visit to the open-air Beamish Museum, which brings to life the history of Northeast England in the early 1800’s. A tour of the breathtaking Durham Cathedral, which was used as a location for the Harry Potter movies and we will hopefully have a guided tour of Hadrian’s Wall with a stop at Houseteads Fort. You can enjoy parts of the Wall from the comfort of your seat as it runs parallel with the road.
